Was there with a friend to eat something. It's small, but nice. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was very friendly and there was also gluten-free cake, which I was very happy about. I will definitely come back soon when the Corona measures are finally relaxed again.

My personal impression after breakfast: coffee culture. . . well, more standard. Food very good. Furniture alternative, ambience ok. However, the chaotic conditions when paying are bad: it is expected that one queues for to-go customers to get to the checkout. A no - go!

Atmosphere is great, but coffee, especially considering the price, wasn't that great. I see everyone is talking about how great their Flat White was, so maybe I should have tried that one..

Awesome coffee - if it arrives at your table. Service is absolutely chaotic. We had to ask for our coffee 3x. Scrambled eggs were cold - but were at least replaced. Perhaps just a bad day.

Okay. Not quite "my" taste. Very alternative, but nice service and delicious cake. I like the ambience less now. Doesn't open until 10:00 on Sunday.

Very friendly staff, very tasty breakfast. However, a reservation is highly recommended as it is very small and often well attended. The coffee was also really delicious.

The Aniis Café is really a cute café with flair. The breakfast menu is plentiful and delicious. The drinks also taste very good and the staff is attentive and efficient. The prices are reasonable and the ambience lets you linger and enjoy for hours. Worth a visit!

Aniis is different from the current hip and 'clean' shop. Inside it reminded me of cafés from the 90s. I liked the anise breakfast very much. And the filter coffee was also super delicious, it's been a long time since I drank filter coffee. We will definitely be back and top recommendation from us.

Super tasty breakfast! And the staff is great: they work hard to find you a place and get you seated and get your food delivered very fast event on the overcrowded Sunday morning! Great work!

Love the coffee and the friendly staff. The hummus there is amazing. Nice to chill in the afternoon when it’s not packed.

I think Aniis is a real pearl in the middle of the city. It was recommended to me as a location for good coffee and delicious cakes, but it's much more than that. There is a great breakfast, delicious Moroccan delicacies and the sandwiches are great. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. You can sit outside quite well, even if it is right on the street.

The first point of criticism: I had to sit at a dirty table ... It can't be that I have to address it first ... 2nd negative point: I had breakfast and coffee with you, unfortunately I got stomach pain and diarrhea after your visit. Maybe you think about it sometime. I hadn't eaten anything else.

Coffee great, cake great and breakfast was great too. Spontaneously you get a seat less often. Recommend a reservation

My first contact with handbrew coffee. Was actually not a big fan of coffee before. Meanwhile, I make it here almost once a month, even though I live in Munich. Very nice staff, who, depending on the company, are also happy to have a little chat. So you feel comfortable and can enjoy the delicious offer

A very nice place with a great selection of delicious and healthy dishes. The coffee is also worth a recommendation. The service is very friendly and served and quick. When eating, there are small as well as large dishes, with a big focus apparently on the healthy Nagebot. There are also various kitchens and pastries. All in all - a little insider tip in the Frankfurt Ostend district.

Live the coffee

Nice, small but good place for a bite with good cake options and good coffee. I liked the atmosphere easy going, relaxed and not posh, which is refreshing! Vegetarians be warned as the place can have a strong meaty smell.

Great cafe with very good food. I went there for lunch a few times and was thrilled every time! The staff are very nice, even when it's busy. It is relatively small, so that with a group may not get a table at lunchtime. If one is flexible and divides on several small tables, that is however also no problem. The coffee also tastes great and there are alternatives to cow's milk.

Coffee is just great! For a comfortable conversation between 2 the tables are a bit too wide and it is too loud

Cosy and warm coffee place to grab refreshing coffee /home made Soup. The milk Chai - Prana Chai had a good sort of Spices and soothing aroma. One could get the Prana Chai mixture here. The ambience was lively.

I love this place, the breakfast is amazing! The people that work there are always kind and they smile at your face. If you are near there for a break or a breakfast, I really suggest it.

Very quaint location, but tables and chairs are very close together. Plan to be cozied up next to other folks.

Very extraordinary place with sophisticated coffee. The choice of coffee is various and unique. This cafe is quite small but with friendly staff that speaks English fluently. Reccomendable place for a tasty coffee

Great Coffee, slow unorganized/ uncoordinated staff

I was disappointed. I was there with two friends for breakfast. First, the waiter offered us latte, that somebody else ordered. Another waiter didn't say to my friend, that the drink, that she ordered, was not available. She hat to wait for 15 minutes until another waiter informed her, that there will be no drink and offered her something else. Then I was brought double espresso instead of cold brew. Meanwhile, we noticed that waiters messed up other people's orders. The coffee is not good, nor bad. Do not recommend.

Best espresso in Ostend. Good cakes to! Stylish indoor seating & relaxed outdoor (looking at the bizzy trafic ?) Don't wonder why there are so many people early Sunday morning; brunch is great too.

I tasted this absolutely fresh and exciting espresso-tonic. Loved it. It's a charming little place and I loved the fact that it was pet friendly. I hope so go visit again, soon.
